Human Pathology is the study of disease. The courses are designed to provide students with an understanding of the consequences of pathologic processes on the structure and function of the human body. Human Pathology 3 will introduce students to diseases related to the genito-urinary system including infections, obstruction, tumors, immunological disorders, and renal failure. This will be followed by an introduction to common diseases of the female and male reproductive systems and finally, students will be introduced to the endocrine system and the different diseases that impact the different organs that are parts of this body system. Each body system will be introduced with a brief revision of the relevant anatomy and physiology.
