Fundamental Nursing Skills 3 continues from Fundamental Nursing Skills 2 developing student's clinical knowledge and skills with a focus on the fundamental clinical nursing skills of performing safe medication administration and specimen collection. Students will be well prepared for ensuring that the correct medication is administered to the correct patient, in the correct dose, by the correct route as well as being aware that all medications have side effects. Students will then be introduced to the skills required to collect, test and read results of a range of body specimens.
