This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to deliver nursing care to patients and their families in a home environment, in a safe and professional manner. Students will be introduced to concepts of family health and appropriate assessment tools to use in a home setting. Students will also be introduced to the specialty role of nurses in a school setting and in an occupational workplace setting.
