This course introduces students to the complications that may occur at different stages throughout pregnancy. Students will cover a range of complications that can occur when a woman is pregnant to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to provide quality nursing care to women throughout pregnancy. Common complications at delivery will be discussed and post-partum complications will include a focus on mastitis and its impact on breastfeeding.
