Human Pathology is the study of disease. This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the effects of disease causing processes on the structure and function of the human body. This course will focus on the definition of disease, causes or risk factors of pathological diseases, clinical symptom presentations, diagnostic testing, and treatments for specific health issues. Pathology I will introduce students to disturbances in the hemodynamics of fluids and electrolytes, diseases and trauma of the musculoskeletal system, and diseases of the respiratory system.
